Triage support -- translate symptoms to nursing staff.
Assist client provide gathered medical history.

Orient client in room, update medical contacts on wall board.
Ease client anxiety and concerns, provide blankets, assist client for physical and mental comfort (hospital bedside monitoring).
Run errands -- assist client with special requests like food after hours or entertainment like magazines or books.
Attempt to expedite treatment -- contact the right people to get things moving along, find out why there is a hold up, etc.
Stay alert to medical errors during in-hospital transitions.
